Nav gear.JPG (40367 bytes)GPS is a wonderful accurate tool but when things go awry, not if...but when; mariners must have a tried and true technique to fall back on. Discover the art of coastal navigation.  Gain the skills and confidence to navigate safely within sight of land using the navigator's basic tools:  charts, compass and navigational aids.  Coastal Navigation forms a major part of the Advanced Cruising certificate.
